No commercial use of the content of the OASIS Database and Archives, of the original software and of all related texts and elaborations is allowed. OASIS data freely avaiable can be used with no specific authorization by OGS, provided the following rules are satisfied:
OASIS data whose access is not free can only be used by registered users under specific agreements.
The OASIS database and archives, the original software and all related texts and elaborations were prepared by researchers of the Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia and Geofisica Sperimentale with the collabooration of IMTeam. It includes a large amount of original material on instrumented seismological sites and waveforms, which is available to all interested parties with different level of restrictions.
The database and archives are continuously updated and improved. For these reasons and due to its intrinsic nature, the Database cannot be guaranteed to be complete, accurate and updated in any part. Moreover, the Database will be subjected to successive revisions.
Although the Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale makes every effort to supply the best available information on sites and recorded waveforms, no warranty, expressed or implied, is provided as to the accuracy and reliability of all the data supplied in the database and archive. Users are cautioned to consider carefully the provisional nature of the data and information before using it for decisions that concern personal or public safety or in relation with business involving substantial financial or operational consequences. Conclusions drawn from the data contained in this site, or actions undertaken on the basis of its contents, are the sole responsibility of the user.
